The practical gifts given through GFA World’s Christmas Gift Catalog are an important tool in our mission to bring the love of Christ to communities in Africa and Asia. These gifts provide avenues for families to generate sustainable income or increase their quality of life, all while demonstrating Christ’s compassion to those in need.
Please join us this month as we pray for people in need of gifts and for provision to supply those gifts.
The gift of a sewing machine, a pig, a water buffalo or another income-generating tool may change a family’s life forever. It can enable a family to rise out of incredible poverty and obtain financial stability.
Please pray GFA missionaries can provide income-generating gifts to the families most in need. Pray God will bless the families who receive the animals, drawing their hearts closer to Him.
Many of the families GFA missionaries serve struggle financially and can’t afford essential items. These families often live in poorly constructed houses that offer little protection against rain and cold weather. Life-improving gifts can make all the difference. Gifts such as tin roofing sheets and blankets ensure adequate protection throughout harsh winters or torrential rains.
Please pray that GFA missionaries can provide tin sheets, blankets and other essential items and that these gifts will touch the lives of many families.
GFA missionaries are tasked with the important job of giving gifts to the people who need them the most. This is not always an easy decision. Often the families in need outnumber the resources to buy gifts. Distributing the gifts requires a lot of prayer and insight into the circumstances of the people under our missionaries’ care.
Please pray the missionaries will have wisdom to discern the most helpful gifts for each community. Pray God will open their eyes to those in most urgent need of help.
Join with us as we lift up in prayer those in need around the world. Receive prayer requests with a special focus each month. You can have a part in ministering to those in need, through our most powerful tool, prayer.
