The Mohania Bihar Region
Situated in southwest Bihar, the Mohania Region is separated geographically into two parts: a hilly area—home of the Kaimur plateau—and the plains area on the eastern side, which includes the Sone River. Wheat, lentil beans and rice are some of the food crops grown in this area.
Six different languages are spoken in the Mohania Bihar Region.
A number of famous temples and monasteries dot the landscape and draw many worshipers.
