The South Sri Lanka Region
The South Sri Lanka Region is called the “Beach Paradise” of the island. Fishing provides much of the country’s financial support, but the South is also booming with commercial industries.
Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital city, is in this region and provides a thriving business center for the country. Many people who live in this region work in government jobs or operate their own companies.
The cost of living is high here compared to other regions, and making money is priority for many people.
